Nancy Corabell Yetter, 87 passed away and entered eternal rest following a stay at WeCare at Sycamore in Loyalsock on November 17,2024. She was born July 28, 1937, in Lycoming County and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Williams) Weiss. Nancy married the late Gordon “Gordy” Yetter on May 17, 1963, and shared 57 years of marriage.
Nancy retired in June of 2001 from Wundies as a supervisor and previously worked for GTE Sylvania. Nancy enjoyed working on the family farm, traveling and just being with her husband following retirement. Nancy enjoyed spending her afternoons at Wegmans having long conversations with friends over a cup of coffee.
Her hobbies included interior decorations, quilting, flower arranging, and taking care of the family and friends.
The family wishes to thank the super staff at the memory care unit at WeCare of Loyalsock for their support, love, and outstanding dedication to Nancy over the last 4 years. Your professionalism and your caring hearts cannot be matched.
Surviving is a daughter, Debra (Ron) Derr; brother, Joseph C. Weiss, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, Nancy was preceded in death by a brother Thomas C. Weiss.
A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 25 at Montoursville Cemetery with Rev. David C. Smith officiating.
Arrangements have been entrusted to McCarty Thomas Funeral Home, Montoursville.
In lieu of Flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
