Boundaries, Borders and Who Helps Me

Thank you for all the positive feedback on "Meet the Candidate", positive info provided by the person seeking our votes. We will expand this for upcoming elections and make an effort to get right down to the local mayoral races.

I believe the first amendment was intended to be used in an honest and above board manner to gain a political seat. Freedom of speech should not mean “anything goes” to poll yourself up as currently is happening in political advertising. Trying to hold someone accountable for whatever is said or advertised is almost impossible. We as American citizens should demand better of those wanting to serve us as elected officials. If a candidate has pertinent facts about his rival then we the people need to know. If it is half-truths and personal attacks of character or political chicanery we need to hold the candidate responsible by just not voting for this individual.

Just the facts please, so we can make an educated decision. Locally one candidate, or the person responsible for the mailing and ads for said candidate, should be held accountable.

Enough talk about the “political poppycock approach” used by far too many candidates in our Country. At least until next year.

A few weeks ago I wrote about declaring war on ISIS and Ebola. One of the things I talked about was gaining control of our borders and using the National Guard to do so. What I didn't share with you was an alarming fact I came across but couldn't back up journalistically.

It has now been reported by several media outlets ISIS has been chattering about using Ebola or other diseases as a form of terror against America. Chatter is the military Intel term for eaves dropping in and gathering info to protect our great Nation. One method reported on how they would execute this hideous act is by having terrorists come into our Country or providing those who may already be here with syringes of Ebola or other infectious disease to then be injected into unsuspecting victims or hosts for the disease.

This is why President Obama and those responsible for the policy of controlling our borders must get off their politically correct pulpit.

This was no big surprise to me, ISIS will stop at nothing, they want us dead. What is shocking is how our President won't take action. They could still get in our country or execute an attack even with our borders locked down. But at least make it as difficult as possible for them. Put the odds in our favor a little bit. Defend our great Nation!

Right now, ISIS knows they are up against a weak military leader, in our Commander-in-Chief. You don't think they monitor his response and do their intel work? Nothing he has ever said would let them believe our national borders are protected and secured. Whether or not they are or aren't, he should present this front. He and his policy make our borders sound like the revolving door at a large hotel, you might have to go around the circle a little bit but you're going to get in.

This is what our enemies should think, the United States borders are guarded and well protected and they may kill you if you try to enter illegally or by perpetrating a criminal scheme. This would also cut down on the run of the mill illegal alien problem.

A little different idea than a blanket, a bottle of water, a place to sleep and where to sign up for welfare that Mr. Obama's administration offers. The fear that our borders are tight and guarded goes a long way. Without fear of repercussion you have what we have right now.

ISIS ability to reach the “lone Wolf terrorist,” boy do I hate that term, is the most alarming fact to me and who is to say the so-called individual terrorists are not pawns in a bigger picture not just a random act?

Our President’s lack of urgency must end. I have questioned his beliefs and ideas in the past and he does nothing to prove otherwise.

I would really like to ask the President, what are your current priorities on national security? Not in a pre-rehearsal press conference or interview. Straight up from hip and see what his answer would be. From where I sit this is his actual strategy. 1. Over talk about an issue but say nothing. 2. Act concerned about the issue but do nothing. 3. Avoid action on an issue by procrastinating and hope it goes away. 4. Repeat steps one through three.

Mr. President, evil is not going away. Where do you stand?

I have been asked several times by folks if anyone helps me with my articles? It was even asked do I have a ghostwriter. Well I must confess I do have help. I often write at 3:00 A.M. to 6:30 or 7:00 A.M. My son Buddy does assist me. He sits by my side and is a very good listener. He makes me get up and stretch and venture outside a bit. He is man's best friend and a provider of loyalty and unconditional love. I am blessed to have him as part of my family.

As far as a ghost writer, you can probably figure this one out. I read my writings the next day after penning them in the early hours of the morning. At times I have noticed a strong possibility that there is a ghost writer’s influence. What I have written on occasion does remind me of someone. So I guess to be honest with you, Buddy and my Father do help me with my writings.

God Bless America.
